A few quick projects
Mother Nature is playing games with us. Spring has been elusive - here one day, gone the next. We've had mostly days of cloudy indifference or insulting cold, punctuated with a few begrudgingly yielded sunny yet breezy days. It's not enough spring. I have a feeling that it will be a typical Ohio transition from spring to summer -- freezing one day and blazing hot the next. Nonetheless I feel I have no reason or right to complain, given Mother Nature's wrath in other parts of the world - the cyclone in Myanmar and the earthquake in China. There are so many opportunities to give to those who need it the most right now. The first day of the cyclone's aftermath, Yahoo had a link for charitable giving posted on the front page of their site. You could click on it and choose a charity of your choice to donate to. If you haven't already done so, consider donating something - no matter how small. I am sure that every bit will make a difference.
I have a few quick projects to share:
This one is a quick card with Chinese lanterns punched from the new Thankful collection of papers from Melissa Frances:
This next one is a quick easy peasy card created with a single sheet of Bazzill scalloped rectangle cardstock, rubons from K&Company and adhesive rubons from Marcella by K (Target):
And finally - a while back - Target had these great vinyl bags in metallic colors. I picked up one of the aqua ones -- and I tried the Marcella by K Adhesive Transfers on the bag directly - it worked great. Now I wish I had gotten more bags, sigh! They would make great gift bags to fill with small bottles of lotion or perfume, or some other goodies to give as gifts. If your Target still has them - grab them. The adhesive transfers are great because they come with little tubes of glitter.
Gotta go finish up lunch and get over to jury duty... have a great afternoon!

Melissa Frances makes me swoon. Love her stuff. And I love your work! Gorgeous!

I'll be checking my target for these little cuties. Lovely ideas as usual Ranjini. I like that we are able to see more of your work these days. Definately a nice treat.
