I have been in a stamping sort of mood lately and wanting to make lots of cards. Used a lot of stamps on this card - the patterned papers are Melissa Frances, as is the monogram K stamp and the lace border stamp at the bottom. The swirly stamp is from the Round and Round by Rhonna Farrer set (Autumn Leaves), the crown stamp is from Cat's Life Press and the sentiment stamp is from Inkadinkado. This one was inspired (color-wise) from the latest issue of Domino Magazine. Sort of occurred to me that there is a reason why we are drawn to the covers of particular magazines -- and color has everything to do with it.I loved the autumnal combination of pumpkin, dove grey, wedgwood blue and milk chocolate brown.
I also love these "Your Truly" scalloped notecards that are sold in packs at Archivers in a rainbow of colors. They make stamping up quick cards and gift tags so easy. I used a Melissa Frances damask stamp from the Baroque Stamps set for the christmas tree. The bow rubon is also from Melissa Frances. I "decorated" the tree with some bling and crowned it with a Jenni Bowlin sticker star. The bow was colored with a coptic marker and glittered up a bit.
I love Melissa Frances' Imperial Border stamps - they add such a beautiful effect when layered. The bird stamp and flourish frame are from Inkadinkado. And that peace sentiment - really OLD scrapbook stash from my sticker sneeze days!! But I have been trying to challenge myself to use some of the old stuff!
This one is a gift tag - dressed up with a bit of ribbon from May Arts. Old Rhonna Farrer Christmas Sticker!
I have some great fall photos to share, we went last weekend to a local garden store here in town - we go there every year to buy our pumpkins -- and half the pleasure of going there is to view the decor inside the store. It's just gorgeous. Took some fab photos and will try to post them tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend!
