I'll be sharing an image every day for the holiday season, for the next 30 days. Love the pastels in this one.
I have some projects to share as well but have been waiting for some good light - it's been so grey and dismal here that any pics I take have a weird darkish cast on them.
I haven't had my heart in blogging the past few days. I have been saddened with the news of the terrorist attacks in Mumbai. I generally try to stay away from topics of politics and such in my blog as I want to keep this blog sort of as a respite from all the negative things going on in the world today. But I just can't help expressing my sorrow about it. When I was a child, my grandmother took me and my sisters to Bombay (as Mumbai was called in those days). We went to places like the Taj Intercontinental and the Oberoi, to Colaba and the areas where the recent attacks occurred. We took trains from Victoria Terminal (now Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal) and I never remember feeling anything but wonder and amazement at India. I feel I will never again be able to even visit India without some sense of fear.
Anyway, thanks for letting me unburden. My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
