Thanks so much for your kind comments - it really helped to write that sorrow down and I so appreciated your supportive words, sweet friends! Especially since I've had a particularly rough week. I won't divulge all the details but I will be glad when the week is over. There may just be a few more posts this week -- and then a break while I am traveling next week.
I've been saving these images to share with you for awhile. Sometimes I am inspired by color - the combination of pale aqua, seafoam green and rose is such a romantic, comforting combination. I love its soft rosy, dreamy hues. This combination always brings Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic aesthetic to mind. I was very sad to hear that Shabby Chic was closing its doors. Rachel's blog is so inspiring - and really shows the mettle and courageous spirit of a woman who is going through some tough times right now. I tend to draw strength from the struggles of others - to see that they are fighting through the tough times, and when you see them persisting, it offers you fresh hope and the will to carry on with your own personal struggles. May your spirit be happy and your heart be light today, dear friend. We deserve a burst of sun after the recent spate of clouds and storms.
