The November Design Team Gallery is up at JBS Mercantile - so many wonderful things going on there this month! First off, Jenni has put together a gorgeous kit with additions to her Red/Black Extension Line. (She adds new elements to this classic collection every year, about this time). We were lucky girls to get our hands on some of the wonderful new product, and you may be the lucky recipient of a brand new package of JBS goodies from the Red/Black extension, too. Details at the end of this post, read on!
Here are my contributions to the gallery this month. I love that Jenni's product coordinates so beautifully within her line of product. It makes scrapbooking and creating just so easy and enjoyable.
The crochet trim was gorgeous. I made little no-sew crochet flowers out of the trim. Instructions are in my gallery at JBS Mercantile.
A few cards - I loved the little 4x4 mini of the school children - it went so well with the diecut house. This will be a perfect Xmas card for Alekha's French Teacher.
Most of the photos I used in my layouts were taken last Friday at a local park here in town called The Park of Roses which is a lovely park that has a garden filled with a variety of roses. Autumn was in all its glory that day and it was definitely cold. I was surprised to see so many of the roses still in bloom. I admit, sometimes I will dress Alekha for a photo shoot because I know I need her in a certain color or mood to get a photo I need. She is frankly becoming a pro at letting me get the shots I want (and she gets something out of the bargain - we went to Build a Bear afterward and picked up a candy corn bear that she wanted for halloween!) The downside is that these photos are posed and not as candid as I would like them to be, but I have tried going the candid route and it's tough for me to get a good shot - she is constantly in motion and my camera has its limitations, shall we say!!
Nonetheless, we both get something out of it - I love to see the end product and she indulges me as patiently as one can expect of a seven year old!
On to the good stuff - the GIVEAWAY! Here are some photos of the new product! I absolutely adore this gorgeous collection. It's so classic and elegant.
On each participating blog Jenni Bowlin Studio will give away: a set of our new Red/Black Extension III (12x12 papers, diecut, mini papers, journaling cards), 1 (random - vintage, polka dot, calendar) new diecut pad, and 1 (random - calendar multi, calendar black, thanksgiving) new mini bingo card set. All you need to do is leave a comment at the end of this post, and be sure to check out the other participating blogs and locations to multiply your chances of winning!
Good luck, and happy november!
